The 15×90 sts panel is easy to install from a female spot designed for concealed fixing. The panels can be installed on the ceiling and wall of a sauna or washroom without any protective treatment, but you can also treat them with a suitable sauna wax or paraffin oil if you wish. If you’re looking for a lighter shade of heat-treated panel, check out heat-treated tar board. Heat-treated wood is a durable choice for saunas and damp areas. The heat treatment reduces the moisture content of the panel, increases durability and gives the wood a warm, dark brown colour. Heat-treated aspen is treated in our own factory to a particularly dark brown colour, a colour that is clearly different from many other manufacturers’ products.
