Aptamil Comfort Formula is a specialty infant milk powder made to help babies from birth to 12 months old with constipation and colic. It has a special blend of prebiotics (GOS/FOS) to support gut health and softer stools, as well as partially hydrolyzed whey protein for easier digestion and lower lactose levels. Additionally, a lipid blend containing beta-palmitate, omega-3 (DHA), and omega-6 (AA) fatty acids for brain and eye development is included in the composition. As a Food for Special Medical Purposes, it is nutritionally adequate for either solo feeding (0–6 months) or as a component of a weaning diet (6–12 months), however it should be used under medical supervision. Because of its starch concentration, parents may observe variations in stool consistency and thickness, which is normal.
